Rapidly growing MVP RV LLP brings back the completely re-designed Vortex line of toy haulers.
Vortex will be available in both travel trailers and fifth-wheels, ranging in lengths from 20 feet to 29 feet, according to a news release.
“Our original plan was to introduce Vortex in Louisville,” said Scott Degnan, MVP RV vice president of sales and marketing, “but once the West Coast dealers learned that we were back up and running, the flood of incoming calls asking us to build an affordable laminated toy hauler made us re-think the timing of this product launch.”
The aluminum framed, laminated Vortex will include such standard features as a built in 4,000-watt Onan generator, LCD flat screen TV, 100 gallons of fresh water capacity, convection oven, 40-gallon fueling station, 7-foot ramp door and a 2-inch fully insulated decked floor.
In addition, the standard “Camp in Comfort” package also includes a pressure washer, 13,500-BTU A/C, awning, high intensity lights with door side dimmer switch, outside speakers and upgraded cherry wood cabinetry.
Scott Richgruber, who left Forest River Inc. to head up MVP RV’s toy hauler division, said the West Coast dealers seem to be growing tired of having to compete with “like” products being built by the same company. “Our direction is to not introduce a (sister) brand to the Vortex line,” he said. “Our goal is to provide our dealers with the highest value and most innovative laminated toy hauler in the industry, which in turn will deserve to stand on its own. We want our dealers to enjoy an exclusive territory, without having to be concerned about their margins being squeezed by a competing brand.”
