With temperatures slowly cooling down Albuquerque-based Myers RV Center is making a warm gesture.

According to a report in the Continental News, the dealership is donating to Joy Junction, New Mexico’s largest homeless shelter.

Myers RV has found a unique way to drive donations by incorporating the use of social media. People can make a donation by simply liking the Myers RV Facebook page.

Joy Junction founder and CEO Dr. Jeremy Reynalds said he’s excited about the innovative project by Myers.

“Every donation made, no matter how big or how small, is important to us. The need is growing, and we have to make sure that our income keeps up with that need. In addition to a cash gift, this project by Myers RV gives us the opportunity to gain even more exposure. I hope other businesses will be challenged by this.”

Jeff Myers, manager of Myers RV, noted, “We are simply honored to take part in helping such a wonderful organization. The need is great and we’re simply trying to do our part. It’s fantastic knowing that we can get our family, friends and RV community involved to make the holidays a little easier for those having difficult times.”
