New Horizons RV Offering CheapHeat Furnace

New Horizons RV has completed its factory training on the RV Comfort Systems UL certified and Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) compliant CheapHeat hybrid furnace system. According to a press release, the Junction City, Kan.-based builder will now be offering the system on all of its new luxury, four-season fifth-wheels.

“With the CheapHeat Hybrid furnace system, the customer will have the choice of selecting either gas or electric as a heating source for their forced air heating system with the simple flip of a switch, conveniently located in the RV living area,” said Larry McGaugh of RV Comfort System LLC.

Now that all New Horizons technicians are factory certified, the company will be able to offer this system as a factory update on the existing New Horizons fifth-wheels, said McGaugh.

Phil Brokenicky owner and CEO of New Horizons RV noted, “I have had many RVers asking for electric heat as an alternative to gas when hooked up to shore power. I am delighted that we are now able to offer the RV enthusiast this innovative system.”

New Horizons Offers BlueMesh WiFi Products

BlueMesh Networks announced today that New Horizons RV, a builder of luxury, custom-built towable RVs, will offer WiFiRanger products as factory installation option for their customers.

“We are very excited that New Horizons has agreed to offer WiFiRanger products to their customers, as well as install them professionally for them,” said Neil Neiwert, president of BlueMesh Networks, in a press release. “New Horizons is known for being the nicest RV money can buy, and we can’t think of a better place for our WiFiRanger Products.”

New Horizons, based in Junction City, Kan., will specifically be offering and installing a WiFiRanger products and accessories consisting of a mounting plate installed into the wall of the RV, as well an external WiFi antenna and mounting bracket.

According to BlueMesh, this allows the owner of the RV to connect a WiFiRanger Intelligent Mobile Router and use WiFi from RV parks or coffee shops to connect all their devices inside the RV. The external WiFi antenna helps with signal penetrating the RV, as well as connecting at long distances.

“We’re seeing that more and more of our customers have Internet access needs,” said Cole Brokenicky of New Horizons RV. “With the WiFiRanger package installed, our customers can connect their devices to the internet using WiFi, 3G and 4G LTE mobile broadband, as well as ethernet from things like MotoSat. Offering these kinds of options at the factory is one of the reasons we’ve been rated the only 5 Star Towable by the RV Consumer Group.”

The WiFiRanger package are available for installation in any New Horizons RV and can be requested at the time of order.

New Horizons RV Adds MCDs’ Shade System

MCD Innovations has announced that New Horizons RV is now offering the MCD American Duo Shade System as an original equipment option in selected models.

A family-owned-and-managed company, New Horizons RV has been building towables for over 20 years at its 40,000-square-foot facility near Milford Lake, Kan.
