PleasureLand is a family owned company based in St. Cloud, Minn., and has just entered its 40th year in the recreation vehicle business. It operates as PleasureLand RV Center and PleasureLand RV Center-North Metro at its location in Ramsey, Minn. PleasureLand is Minnesota’s largest RV dealership.
Timed with the gradual resurgence of the U.S. economy, Dan Pearson’s Minnesota-based Pleasureland RV Center Inc. is adding two retail stores to its existing dealerships in St. Cloud and Ramsey after the first of the year.
Those two new storefronts, both leased facilities that will retail towable RVs only, will be located in Brainerd, about 60 miles north of Pleasureland’s St. Cloud headquarters, and Willmar, about the same distance southwest of St. Cloud.
Pearson, for his part, tells RVBUSINESS.com that this is an opportune to time to double his Minnesota network to four outlets.
“We see opportunity in certain areas where the recovery is more evident,” said Pearson. “There are a lot of dealers that have changed product lines and focused on certain areas — and not in other areas — and we see opportunity for us to grow our market share and expand our base. Doing it right now seems like the right time.”
