Powerhouse Generators recently announced a partnership with fuel stabilizer STA-BIL, according to a press release.
In addition to including a STA-BIL sample with each Powerhouse inverter generator, the fuel stabilizer is also used in the manufacturing process. Each Powerhouse Generator is tested at the factory and the fuel used for each test is treated with STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer. Powerhouse also recommends the continued use of STA-BIL for maximum reliability and longevity of their generators.
Powerhouse said that stored fuel can go bad in as little as 30-60 days causing gum, varnish and corrosion to build up in the fuel lines and engine. This is even more prevalent with today’s Ethanol blended fuels. STA-BIL also contains corrosion inhibitors that can protect against rust damage.
“We include a sample of STA-BIL with each Powerhouse Generator we ship,” says Dennis Castagnola, executive vice president, manufacturing and product development. “The power-producing function of their Powerhouse Generators is very important to our customers who rely on them during power outages or while at remote locations, whether on the job site, camping or hunting. We get our customers started with STA-BIL and recommended that they stay with it for the life of their Powerhouse generator. Our customers count on Powerhouse Generators, which is why we count on STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer and Performance Improver.”
