During Stag-Parkway’s annual Driving Success trade show, Progress Manufacturing Inc. was recognized with one of six hand-blown Peach Awards for 2013.
According to a press release, it marked the third time Progress Manufacturing has earned the honor since becoming a supplier to Stag-Parkway in 2004. The Peach Award demonstrates “a manufacturer’s commitment to wholesale distribution and the RV industry.”

The Original Equal-i-zer Sway Control Hitch, produced by Progress Manufacturing Inc., is now offering interactive web-based product training targeting RV dealership parts, service and sales teams.
According to a press release, areas of focus include improving customer satisfaction, growing revenue and increasing margins. The interactive video series gives “dealers the knowledge and confidence they need to be sway control experts for their RV customers.”
“While doing on-site RV dealership trainings we realized how powerful it would be to have these trainings in every dealership,” said Progress Manufacturing Sales Manager Rich Elliott. “Dealers who take advantage of this online tool will always have the benefit of training at their fingertips.”
Dealerships that complete the training will receive a special icon next to their dealership information on Equal-i-zer’s website. This icon will give the dealer priority search benefits when a consumer searches for a dealership to purchase from. Dealership employees that complete the training will also receive training hours toward RVIA/RVDA certifications.
“Experience has shown us that better trained dealers have higher customer satisfaction and sell more product,” said Kim Dewsnup, who is featured in the training.
