The dates for the 2011 Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show in Quartzsite, Ariz., have been pushed back to Jan. 22-30, according to a news release.

“The 2011 show looks like it will be another big one with exhibit space selling briskly,” the release stated. For exhibitor information, photos, maps, directions and much more, visit or call (714) 377-7940.

This tiny desert hamlet bursts at the seams each January when tens of thousands of RVs converge on Quartzsite for the huge rock and mineral shows, swap meets and flea markets that take place there each winter.

There is no charge for admission or parking at this spectacular event that is now billed as “The Largest Consumer Attended RV Show in the U.S.”

The attendance for the 2010 show was estimated at well over 100,000 with over 400 exhibits inside and around the 80,000-square-foot, fully carpeted structure that included the “who’s who” of the RV industry.

“If you’re looking for anything related to RVs, you’ll find it at the RV show in Quartzsite,” says Kenny King, show promoter. There will be several hundred new and used RVs on display in 2011 and over a dozen service bays will be offering immediate installation, repairs and service on many of the items that will be exhibited at the show.

In 2010 there were numerous tourism related exhibits from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe as well as representatives from dozens of the nation’s finest RV resorts and campgrounds. In addition, there were many “workamper” recruiters from national parks and private campgrounds in attendance.

King concluded, “The number and diversity of exhibitors that you’ll find at the Quartzsite RV Show will not be found at any other show of this type in the United States. Period!”
