All daily operations are bundled in one, fully-integrated solution that can be utilized throughout the entire business.
“We are thrilled to partner with a top software provider in our industry,” said Earl Manning, vice president of RV Care.”IDS is very well-respected throughout the RV community and we feel its solution can provide our dealers with the capabilities they need to boost customer service and create full visibility throughout their entire dealership. According to a press release, the arrangement allows customers buying vehicles from RV Care or Priority RV Network to receive emergency service for major breakdowns at any member dealership in the U.S. or Canada.

Corey Ruzicka, executive director of Priority RV Network, added, “More than 154 dealerships in the U.S. and Canada will offer a major selling advantage for the buying customer. We feel this alliance will increase sales for the dealers in both groups.”
Both RV Care and Priority RV Network will continue to operate as separate entities. RV Care currently consists of 60 full-service RV dealerships in the 10 provinces across Canada while Priority RV Network has 94 dealerships in 41 states.
“A lot of Americans visit Canada in their RVs,” said said Bill Redmond, president of RV Care Network and Bucars RV Centre in Balzac, Alberta. “And a lot of Canadians travel to the U.S. on RV vacations and as snowbirds during the winter. Now, our customers will have peace of mind for service and parts when they travel on both sides of the border.”
Both groups offer a variety of additional benefits for their dealers. This alliance may also open the door for exciting new opportunities with industry suppliers.

Brunnthal, Germany-based SFC Energy AG and the RV Care Network announced today (Jan. 20) their collaboration to distribute SFC’s EFOY eco-friendly fuel-cell generators through RV Care retailers throughout Canada.
The announcement was made this morning (Jan. 20) during the opening day of the Toronto RV Show & Extravaganza at the Toronto Congress Center.
EFOY fuel cell generators are fully automated battery chargers, which start up when the battery voltage is low, charge and then revert to standby mode when the battery is fully charged. This portable energy source supplies enough electricity to operate the RV’s electric appliances off-grid for several weeks. SFC Energy has sold 20,000 fuel cells in Europe, where 50 European RV manufacturers have provided the EFOY as an energy source to its customers for years.
“We are pleased to be able to provide our customers with an ideal energy supply for their RVs, which is environmentally friendly and available 24 hours a day,” said Earl Mannings, vice president of the 54-dealer RV Care network. “They are now able to self-sufficiently stay in the great outdoors for several weeks, without having to worry about a sufficient energy supply.”
Designed exclusively for recreation and leisure activities, the EFOY fuel cell family comes in five models offering charging capacity ranging from 600 to 2,160 watt hours per day. In Canada, the EFOY fuel cell generator is available in two models with a loading capacity of up to 2.2 kWh per day. The EFOY fuel cartridges, with five liters (1.32 gallons) or 10 liters (2.64 gallons) of fuel, will also be offered by RV Care retailers.
“We are very proud to introduce our EFOY fuel cell generator, a standard in European RV industry, in Canada,” said Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy AG. “Enjoying the great nature of Canada with silent and emission-free electricity on board – this is how the EFOY fuel cell generator enhances the travel experience. We are particularly pleased about our collaboration with RV Care, an excellent partner with a nation-wide retail network, to cover the high demand in the Canadian market.”
Visitors to the Toronto RV Show & Extravaganza, which runs through Sunday (Jan. 23) can see the EFOY fuel cell generator at the Parts Superstore exhibit (area B, booth B-3).

When news came out about the devastating earthquake that hit the tiny nation of Haiti earlier this year, everyone began thinking of how they could help. The people who make up the RV Care Network of dealers were no different, according to www.soonews.ca.
Ideas quickly grew into plans and within days the commitment was received from a number of RV Care dealers, along with partner supplier Coast Distribution, to provide portable generators that could be used to help the people of Haiti in the long rebuilding process.
After a few weeks, the plan came together for RV Care to provide more than 50 portable generators to a missionary aid organization based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick. The generators, worth over $80,000, are now on their way, along with other important supplies collected by the aid group, to be used by people in Haiti who know what needs to be done to help the locals rebuild their homes and lives.
“RV Care was able to increase the value of a substantial commitment from the dealer group into even greater value using the collective power of our buying group to purchase the generators” said Earl Manning, vice president of the RV Care Network.
The 49 independent RV Care dealers across Canada provide service and support for their customers when they travel. Helping the people of Haiti was something everyone wanted to do as a group, in addition to what each has done on their own.
The RV Care Network announced that it has added six locations to serve traveling RV Care customers across Canada. This brings the RV Care service network to a total of 49 locations from coast to coast.
Joining the RV Care Network are:
- Adventure Sports RV, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
- Chemo RV Sales and Service, Quesnel, British Columbia.
- Chemo RV Sales and Service, Williams Lake, British Columbia.
- Happy Trails RV, Grande Prairie, Alberta.
- Happy Trails RV, Prince George, British Columbia.
- Roulottes E. Turmel, Château Richer, Québec.
“When people travel in the RV they purchased from an RV Care dealer, any of the other 48 RV Care dealers will be happy to treat them like family when they stop by for help, to stock up on supplies, or just for some local information,” according to a news release.
A map and full list of the RV Care dealers across Canada is available on the RV Care website at www.rvcare.ca.
In addition to RV Care providing a added value for customers looking to purchase an RV, the RV Care dealers also have access to a growing list of exclusive partner supplier programs that help save money and provide additional benefits to the dealership and staff. New for 2010 are partner programs with Frontier Supply Chain Solutions for customs brokerage and parts shipping, as well as the RV Care Roadside Assistance branded program that’s powered by Coach-Net. These companies join Coast Distribution, Dometic, East Penn Canada, Great West Life, The SAL Group and TD Financial Services as valued partners of the RV Care Network.
