RV Designer announced the hiring of Melissa D. Revlett to the newly created position of sales/marketing manager, effective May 27.
According to a press release, Revlett brings 14 years industry experience to RV Designer. Most recently, she was a territory representative for RVLI, the national rep firm for RV Designer. In that capacity she managed a 14-state region for dealer and distributor development. Prior to that she spent 11 years with Stag-Parkway, Atlanta, Ga., in various capacities.
Based in Wheeling, Ill., RV Designer is a leading supplier of replacement hardware and accessories to the RV aftermarket. Revlett will be based in Douglasville, Ga., but will have national sales responsibility.

RV Designer and BRD Supply of Bristol, IN announced a new marketing partnership designed to “streamline operations and maximize their relative strengths,” according to a press release.
Wheeling, Ill.-based RV Designer reported that it has purchased BRD’s aftermarket product line and is the “exclusive supplier of the BRD range of products to the aftermarket sector.” BRD will concentrate on the OEM market by supplying hardware and related products to the RV manufacturers.
BRD Supply, based in Bristol, Ind., is a developer and supplier of hardware to the RV OEM industry. RV Designer focuses on merchandising and PlanOGram solutions for the RV aftermarket. Additionally both companies will be collaborating on new product development programs.
“This is a great opportunity for both companies to focus on what we do best,” said John Tinghitella, RV Designer COO. “We will package the BRD product under our RV Designer brand and expect to maximize this new opportunity to the benefit of our customers.”
