A fire has destroyed the Hoosier Lottery’s promotional RV, the agency said today. No one was injured, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette reported.
The recreational vehicle, known as “Big Fun 1,” burst into flames on the Ronald Reagan Parkway in Indianapolis shortly after 10 a.m., the lottery said in a statement.
Lottery distribution center employee Johnnie Woods was driving the RV, which had just been repaired, from lottery headquarters to the distribution center when he detected a strong odor, the statement said.
It said Woods pulled the RV to the side of the road, exited the vehicle, noticed the fire and called 911. Police and firefighters were on the scene within minutes, the statement said.
