Bill Lee’s Selling Denison, Texas, RV Dealership

July 6, 2012 by · 1 Comment

Texas RV dealership changes hands.

An RV dealership in Denison, Texas, known for helping “Texomans” hit the open road, will be closing up shop after more than 25 years of business.

Bill Lee, owner of North Texas RV, has been selling the dream of hitting the open road for nearly three decades.

“We have sold in 48 states and also England and Mexico,” says Lee.

That dream entails kicking back and relaxing, something Lee, as a business owner, hasn’t had the freedom to do.

“I’m getting onto retirement age and I thought it was time to let someone else take over and we’ll get in a motorhome and do something else,” says Lee.

North Texas RV will be closing its doors on July 15 and in August it will reopen as RV Max.

“The RV Max people will make us proud of it,” says Lee.

North Texas RV employees have been hired on by RV Max out of Whitesboro, Texas, and employees say the service will stay superb.

“We’re going to be full blown. We’re going to keep all our parts and service. We’re going to have a lot of trailers. So you can come here for sales, service and parts. It’s going to be just like it’s always been,” says Bobby Lewis, parts manager.

But before the change of hands, there’s a mega-sale at North Texas RV.

“We’ve got some real deals. There’s some big discounts on the fifth-wheels and they would be a great deal for somebody. They could save a lot of money. We’re talking about thousands,” says Lee.

A final deal for Lee, whose ready to finally live the life he’s been selling to others for 27 years.
