The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association-Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVDA-RVIA) RV Service Technician Certification Program is reaching out to all certified technicians and asking them to “stay connected, stay certified” by providing updated contact information to RVDA, according to an RVDA release.
All certified technicians are receiving a special “Stay Connected, Stay Certified” postcard at their dealership of record. The postcards were mailed in early March.
To ensure technicians receive vital recertification and other information about the RVDA-RVIA RV Service Technician Certification Program, the postcards asks techs for their current phone number, plus their business, home, and e-mail addresses. Technicians can send an e-mail with contact information to email@example.com or call (703) 591-7130, ext. 102.
If the postcard addressee is no longer employed at the dealership, RVDA is asking that dealerships pass that information on via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (703) 591-7130, ext. 102.
The RVDA-RVIA RV Service Technician Certification Program is designed to assist the RV industry and the public by identifying those professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to satisfy established standards in RV diagnostic and repair procedures, as adopted by the governing board. The program tests and certifies only individuals, not dealerships, companies or other types of business entities.
