RV Superstore of Mocksville in North Carolina just finished a record-breaking September with over a 100% increase in sales from 2008 to 2009, according to a news release.
“This proves to me that RV consumer confidence has done a complete turn around,” said owner Jeff Plemmons. “The RV Industry is sensitive to economic changes, but it is resilient. People love the RV lifestyle, and they just aren’t willing to give it up because it is such a positive aspect of their lives. This sales growth in 2009 has given us more room to develop more services for our customers. We have had increases of over 80% between 2007 and 2008, and I am excited about what the future holds.”
After selling his shares to their family business during September 2004, Plemmons started fresh with his own RV Dealership. Two years ago through the continued growth of the RV industry, RV Superstore of Mocksville was able to build and move into its 35,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art RV facility years ahead of schedule.
With over 10 paved acres of new and used RVs, the RV dealership has continued to grow, establishing itself as one of the largest dealerships in the Southeast in the process.
