Monaco RV LLC has launched the completely redesigned 2011 Trail Sport by RVision. The fully laminated, aluminum-framed Trail Sport dry weights range from 2,500 to 4,200 pounds, making it one of the lightest and least expensive trailers in its class, according to a press release. The Trail Sport is available in 15 floorplans from 17 to 32 feet, four bunk models and five expandable models. The Trail Sport exterior is constructed of smooth-sided fiberglass with new graphics for 2011. A fully walkable roof makes servicing of vents and seals convenient. Exterior options include chrome trim rings, aluminum wheels, Equa-Flex axles for stable towing, outside shower, exterior speakers and exterior storage drawer. Quality construction continues on the interior of the Trail Sport. Windows are lined with automotive Dseal, no butyl tape as found in some trailers, providing prevention against streaking and leaks. All cabinet doors are mortise and tenon jointed for strength and durability. Four decor options are available. Residential amenities include a rise galley faucet, microwave, skylight in bathroom and available kitchen island with bar stools. “The response from our dealer base has been extremely positive regarding the improvements made to the Trail Sport,” according to John Fisher, national sales manager for RVision.
