Wakarusa, Ind.-based Prime Time Manufacturing Inc. introduced its “repositioned” Sanibel line at the Louisville Show, fashioning a four-season, luxury fifth-wheel priced to compete in the heart of the marketplace. “The luxury fifth-wheel segment had become an arms race,” noted Jeff Wagner, product manager for the Forest River Inc. subsidiary. “We cut MSRP’s by $10,000 to $15,000 without sacrificing quality or the amenities full-timers are looking for.” Ranging in lengths from 35 to 40 feet and a starting base MSRP of $49,995, the Sanibel maintains its full-timer two-year warranty with upgraded insulation exceeding R-50 in many areas that has been tested and approved at a temperature of minus-13 degrees Fahrenheit. Interiors are designed to accommodate extended stays with an all-residential furniture ensemble from Lane, dual ACs that provide zone cooling and heating, and LED lighting. A triple-slide 3600 Sanibel was showcased in Louisville featuring a rear entertainment floorplan with theater seating, an island kitchen, cherry wood cabinetry throughout and a bedroom suite with standard king-size bed.
