Tom Johnson Camping Center today (Oct. 15) announced a new partnership with Shriners International and Oasis Shriners of Charlotte to raise funds for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
According to a press release, Tom Johnson Camping Center will utilize a number of methods to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
“Shriners Hospitals for Children is an institution that helps thousands of children each year for free and we are excited to be assisting in those efforts,” said Gary Stroud, vice president for North Carolina-based Tom Johnson Camping Center. “Not only does Shriners Hospitals for Children care for children they are also on the forefront of medicine in many areas including burn treatment, orthopedics, spinal cord injuries and more.”
Under the agreement Tom Johnson Camping Center will donate a portion of the proceeds from every RV purchased by a Shriner back to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. In addition, Tom Johnson Camping Center will donate a portion of a month’s sales proceeds to Shriners Hospitals for Children and provide for space in the company’s booths at RV trade shows to promote the work being done at the hospitals.
