An Idaho RV rental firm is helping a little boy’s wish come true. According to a report by KPVI TV, Scotty is facing a very uncertain future as he battles a rare disease and is in the early stages of dementia.
Smith RV Rental in Idaho Falls is going to help the boy cross off an item from a bucket list he’s made.
“Scotty had it on his bucket list to travel across country in a motorhome, and we’d like to see what we can do to help” said Rental Manager Skip Wolfe.
The boy loves to travel and his parents thought an RV trip would be the perfect scenario to help him feel like he’s getting away for a while. Smith RV has decided to donate a motorhome to the family to do just that.
“It’s always a good feeling, especially for a company our size, to be able to help somebody out, especially in this condition and these circumstances,” continued Wolfe.
Smith RV is doing more than just donating a motorhome. They’re also trying to come up with the funds to pay for gas and other expenses the family might need during their trip.
“People can drop off donations which are greatly appreciated by Smith RV,” said Wolfe.
