The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has booked a slate of compelling speakers for its Annual Meeting, taking place March 4–9 at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Palm Springs, CA. The group includes a leader of the European RV industry, a social media guru, a noted economic expert, and an acclaimed political pundit.

Hans-Karl Sternberg, Secretary General of the European Caravan Federation (ECF), will deliver the keynote address at RVIA’s Annual Membership Meeting, taking place the morning of March 8. He will detail the current status of the European RV market and examine how the industry is becoming increasingly more global in nature.

In addition, Jared Hamilton, Todd Buchholz and Charlie Cook will offer their remarks at the RV Manufacturer/Supplier Forum being held on March 7. “These seminars are the centerpieces of the forum and will offer attendees the opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers on issues that are very topical for the industry,” said RVIA’s Mike Hutya, vice president of meetings and shows.

Hamilton, founder and CEO of, will provide practical information and best practices for implementing an impactful social media program. He will focus on how social media is changing marketing and examine online reputation management, content generation and management, and building friends and knowledge.

Todd Buchholz is a former director of economic policy at the White House, an award-winning economics professor at Harvard, contributing editor at Worth magazine, and commentator for ABC News, PBS, CBS and CNBC. He will provide an economic outlook for the coming year.

Charlie Cook

Charlie Cook, one of the nation’s most trusted and respected authorities on U.S. elections and political trends, has been hailed by the New York Times as “one of the best political handicappers in the nation.” He is editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report and a columnist for the National Journal. Cook will provide an insider’s look at the Washington political scene and what he anticipates happening in the November elections.
