Coachmen RV’s Viking Plant in Centreville, Mich., has been certified as a “Green Capable” RV Manufacturer and will soon display the TRA Certified Green label on its Coachmen and Viking Camping Trailers, according to a news release.

The Viking facility runs a low-waste plant that incorporates recycled shipping containers that are sent back to the supplier. They also recycle what material is available, such as steel and aluminum. They make a conscious effort to use a material before it ends up in the landfill.

The Viking camping trailer is very lightweight and, therefore has less of a carbon footprint. It has earned the right to display the SILVER Certified Green RV label!

For more information on green certification, visit www.tragreen.com or contact Mandy Leazenby at 1-800-398-9282.
