The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) Standards Department announced the launch of a new website to host technical training videos and essential updates on industry standards issues.

Available at, the site offers both free and paid video clips from training seminars featuring knowledgeable industry experts, according to an RVIA news release.

RVIA Vice President of Standards and Education Bruce Hopkins said, “RVIA’s training seminars have been very popular among our members, but we understand that the costs of travel are sometimes prohibitive in tough economic times. We have launched our video website for those who weren’t able to make it to one of our past trainings. Those people can now get caught up on the information they’ve been missing, without having to leave home or work.”

For videos that are available for purchase, RVIA has designed an online purchasing system that features “tokens.” Users can purchase tokens either individually or in packs and discounts will be available to users who purchase multiple tokens. Designated training managers also have the opportunity to allocate tokens to employees to facilitate online learning opportunities.

CARB Formaldehyde Requirements Presentation Available

Currently hosted on is a free, downloadable powerpoint presentation providing an overview of the CARB formaldehyde requirements and addressing those things that fabricators, distributors and retailers need to do for implementation.

Hopkins added, “We realize that many in the industry are already knowledgeable of the required actions to implement CARB requirements, but this powerpoint can help ensure key information is not missed. I encourage manufacturers to download and send this free presentation on to their California dealers as many of them may not be aware of some of their required responsibilities.”
