“RV Buddies” has launched a Visa affinity credit card program with CardPartners to rescue high-risk dogs from kill animal shelters.
“RVers love their rigs and their dogs” Mark Summers, executive producer of “RV Buddies,” stated in a news release. “And this is a chance for all of us to help animals that may not be as well-loved. The “RV Buddies” credit card designs are fun, show off your passion for RVing and raise money for dog rescue groups. That makes for a pretty good combination.”
Just last week, “RV Buddies” rescued a 1-year-old puppy as her time “was up” at the shelter. “It amazes me that people can think of a dog as disposable or an accessory,” said Summers. “‘Angel’ is a sweet, affectionate, well-behaved girl. She is already smitten’ with Alex,” Summers’ other dog.
The “RV Buddies” credit cards are available in a choice of five limited edition collector designs. Whether a dog lover, a fan of RV Buddies or loyal to an RV industry classic — there’s a card for everyone — all of which contribute to the non-profit dog charities.
The RV artwork was created by famed artist Richard Neuman. His work is featured throughout the “RV Buddies” site, in the sites “SWAG” merchandise store, and at http://www.richard-neuman-artist.com/.
Applicants can apply for the card exclusively on the RV Buddies website – http://www.rvbuddiesonline.com/. When a cardholder activates the card, dog charities receives $50. Then once a month for the life of the program, the charities receive a check for a portion of each dollar that every cardholder charges. It doesn’t cost the cardholder a penny — and they help save animals’ lives.
