Startup company Warrior Lifestyles Inc. has rolled out its first toy box trailers and is selling them through a trio of West Coast RV dealerships.

Larry Broyles, former general manager of Weekend Warrior, is the sole owner of Warrior Lifestyles Inc., which is operating out of a 25,000-square-foot facility in Perris, Calif.

The first units are a 25-foot FS2500, with MSRP in the low 40s and the 29-foot FS2900 in the mid-40s.

They began rolling off the production line April 20. Broyles has a staff of 38 production workers, many of them formerly associated with Weekend Warrior, building the new product.

The idea for the startup company began shortly after Weekend Warrior shut down two years ago.

Broyles bought some of the older inventory from the defunct Southern California manufacturer, opened a small service shop and began providing warranty service to Weekend Warrior trailer owners.

Subsequently, Broyles and Darryl Dakan, formerly associated with Giant RV, took a prototype vehicle of Broyles’ design to the Glamis Sand Dunes, a major recreational site in Southern California to sample consumer response.

They detected keen interest in the product which is lighter but stronger than the old Weekend Warriors, says Dakan, vice president of sales for the new company who has been engaged in the off-road recreational lifestyle for more than 40 years. He has an extensive background in quality control, sales and manufacturing.

“We went from a wood coach to an aluminum vacuum-bonded wall with foam core inserts and gel coat exterior siding,” he explained.

The 25-foot model has a dry weight of 6,800 pounds (depending upon how it is equipped) and features that would include front and rear exterior caps, with integrated LED lighting, crown roof and rear-radius ramp door.

The Warrior Lifestyle models feature brand-name appliances (Dometic refrigerators and Onan generators) and entertainment (Kicker sound systems with Sony head units).

Warrior Lifestyle’s three inaugural dealers are McMahon’s RV in Southern California, AZ Campers in Phoenix and Pro Tech RV in Reno.
