Startup manufacturer RV Warrior Co., maker of Weekend Warrior toy hauler travel trailers and fifth-wheels, announced the addition of lifelong industry professional Casey Torres as western region sales manager.
According to a press release, Torres has been associated with the RV industry since the age of eight. Growing up, he worked with dealerships in Southern California and at the age of 20 was employed by Warrior Mfg. Later he went on to work for Skyline Corp., Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC and most recently Dutchmen Manufacturing Inc. prior to joining RV Warrior.
“Casey has an unmatched level of experience in the toy hauler market and the West Coast dealer network,” said Brandon Ambris, president of Elkhart, Ind.-based RV Warrior which is currently operating in Nexus RV’s facilities. “As we introduce the all new Weekend Warrior, Casey will utilize his participation in the Warrior lifestyle to make our product better.”
“It’s great to be a part of a company whose passion is to build what the retail customer wants,” said Torres. “A company that not only builds for the lifestyle and understands it, but enjoys being a part of that lifestyle.”
RV Warrior will be building laminated travel trailers ranging from 20- to 28-feet initially with plans to build fifth-wheels by early next year. Many of the features are an upgrade from the standard stick and tin built travels, according to the company.
“The future for Weekend Warrior is poised to be the dominant toy hauler manufacturer in the industry and I am proud to be part of it,” stated Torres.
