A new DVD aimed at RV consumers will give dealers another tool to help protect their customers through Protective’s XtraRide RV Service Agreement Program, which is exclusively endorsed by the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA). The service agreement program is through the Asset Protection Division of Protective.
The eight-minute video emphasizes how an XtraRide extended service agreement can provide additional peace of mind for customers after the manufacturer and component part warranties expire, according to an RVDA news release. The DVD is ideal to use in the F&I office, customer lounge, and at special dealership events, RVDA noted. A copy of the DVD will be included in each April issue of RV Executive Today magazine and is available online at a link on www.rvda.org. A DVD version that repeats the program is also available upon request from Protective.
XtraRide offers both a named component coverage program as well as exclusionary coverage on motorhomes and travel trailers. Optional benefits for motorhomes and travel trailers include the deluxe component package, leveling jack system, slide out room coverage and audio video coverage. When the customer selects platinum coverage, the optional benefits are included as part of the covered component groups.

The XtraRide service agreement is backed by Lyndon Property Insurance Co. (a Protective company) in all states except New York. In New York, the product is backed by Old Republic Insurance Co.
