nuCamp RV, a recreational vehicle manufacturer best known for its iconic TAB and TAG teardrop trailers, continues to expand into new markets, launching several new models as part of this week’s RVX show in Salt Lake City.
Beginning in late 2015, nuCamp RV expanded operations of manufacturing teardrop trailers to include a truck campers. This year the company also entered the full-sized travel trailer market and a retro fiberglass camper is also expected to be added to the product line in 2020.
“Our success in the teardrop market has provided us the opportunity to bring our quality and innovation to new segments of the RV industry,” said CEO Scott Hubble in a press release. “The TAB and TAG teardrop trailers will remain at the heart of our company but we are also excited about the future of our new product lines. We are committed to continuous improvement.”
New products at RVX include:
— The Cirrus 720 truck camper, a hard-sided, nonslide camper optimized for a three-quarter ton pickup truck. Production of the unit began in February 2019. The Cirrus 720 is the third model in the Cirrus line.
— In April, nuCamp RV will begin production of the AVIA, a 28-foot full-sized travel trailer. The trailer offers aluminum frame technology and Azdel sidewalls while the interior features European-inspired components, modern cabinetry and plush fabrics.
AKTV8 and MORryde, in partnership with Keystone RV, debuted the iFlex SMARTryde suspension system at RVX. It's an air-ride suspension for towable RVs, similar to what you'd find on a motorhome.
