Tampa Show on Record Pace
Two consecutive days of record crowds at the 2019 34th Annual Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa — along with a favorable weather forecast through the weekend — has organizers staring at what could very well turn out to be the best "Tampa Show" ever. Wednesday's (Jan. 16) Opening Day saw 19,189 people pass through the gates, about 80 people more than last year's record crowd, while Thursday's (Jan. 17) attendance was reported at 16,012, which was 1,200 more than in 2018. Lance Wilson, executive director of the Florida RV Trade Association, which hosts the show, added that the gate attendance was buoyed by a 42% increase in online ticket sales.
